Are ShredLights water resistant?

ShredLights are water and dust resistant with an IP65 rating.* We accomplished this by sealing the USB cover and lens, while also coating the circuit board with a water-resistant coating. This means puddles should be no issue. For the safety of ShredLights and your board, we recommend avoiding unnecessary puddles. Although we advise against doing so, there have been extensive testing of this by dunking the lights in water and they still function properly.

*Water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge wet lights. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.
